The guys at JJ’s have serviced my car, and the cars in my families for a while now and I’ve never had an issue, they always provide a good service and delivery the car back promptly and without a delay.Very reliable as well, which means I’m not worried that something is going to happen when I leave the mechanics, and never find myself paying extra when I arrive to pick the car up.

For anyone looking for a honest, reliable and friendly mechanic and cannot vouch more then enough for JJ Service Centre. 6 years ago I moved to East St Kilda and noticed this little mechanic on Inkerman street, I introduced myself to Leon and told him that I was looking for a mechanic that I could trust and would take care of me, in return I promised all my business to him. Leon and and his team are very effective communicators and won’t preform any work without advising and gaining your permission before hand. What’s also helpful is that he keeps all service history on file which assisted me come tax time. I thoroughly encourage anyone looking for a local mechanic to use JJ Service Centre – They are the Best!! Thanks Leon and the team.

Previously to discovering this hidden gem, I used to take my (then new) car in for service at a particular service center. Oh my god, not only did they rip me off, but the quality of the craftsman ship was woeful. My dad (who is a mechanic – un unfortunately does not live near me) who later inspected the car was shocked at the level of carelessness and the amount of money that I got charged for the service that I received from that service center. Anyway, after that experience, I was somewhat weary of mechanics until one of my friends referred me to JJ’s. To my pleasant surprise, the level of customer service, care and professionailsm that Leon and his team gave me was unbelievable. I used to live in the eastern suburbs, so it was really handy for me to drop my car off and pick it up after work… but now (7 years later) I’m in the western suburbs, working in an area full of mechanics, and guess what? I’m still taking my car back to JJ’s.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Leon for over 20 years. He is a fussy type but that can be what you need in a mechanical service. He is courteous, listens, and does exactly what you ask, never forgets or gets it wrong like most places, and is prompt and exact. We have never had the slightest problem, argument or issue of overcharging or shoddy workmanship through six vehicles we have taken there.
